To get started, create a service account for your organization. This service account is required to authenticate your service account.

Using DevOps API to manage your databases provides an overview of how to use the Astra DevOps API to manage your Astra database.
After connecting to your Astra database, you can perform the following actions:
- Create a new database
- Terminate your database
- Resize your database
- Park your database
- Unpark your database
When you use the DevOps API reference, paste the authentication token in the Bearer Auth field after you select Try It for your selected command. This authenticates your service account so you can run the command.
